About Us
We are a group of around 40 stitchers with a wide and varied range of experience, united by a love of textiles and their decoration, who wish to meet with other like minded people to share this interest.
We are a member of the Association of Northern Stitch Groups (ASNG) which is a co-ordinating group of local independent stitch groups. They host workshops and provide some meetings during the year. We are also affiliated to the Embroiderers Guild which exists to promote the awareness of stitch and textile art.
Some members of our group also run Saturday Young Stitchers which meets monthly at Ushaw College, Durham. This is for children of 7+ who are interested in sewing.
