We would like to start by wishing the SHQA website a huge happy first birthday. We launched it last year on National Sewing Machine Day, and what an exciting day that was.

It’s a great reminder of the importance of using strong, unique passwords For your peace of mind, the SHQA would also like to reassure you that member details are never sold or shared with third parties. Staying informed and cautious helps protect us all.

The last month has probably been the most incredible one for Rachel and The Sew Happy Quilters’ Association. From the SHQA’s first birthday and the exciting announcement that we are now official charity partners with Cats Protection.

Hello Happy Quilters! The past four weeks have been filled with Christmas preparations and some wonderfully inspiring trips.

I had the pleasure of talking with two inspiring makers at the Festival of Quilts: Clare Wilkes, creator of Colours of Pollen A Beekeeper’s Quilt and Kristen Hubert, founder of the Scrap Fabric Love community.
