One Month Old!
Hello Sew Happy Quilters’!
The ‘The Sew Happy Quilters’ Association’ is a whole month old and what a month it’s been! I want to start by saying a huge thank you for all your love and support you have given me recently whilst we have been busy setting this all up.
Here’s what we have achieved:
Established our Ethos which is –
The SHQA has been created to bring a fresh new look and challenge current trends and habits in the Quilting world whilst finding positive alternatives.
The SHQA is all about being happy and encouraging each other in our art of Quilting.
Put in place our Core Values which are – Shine, Embrace and Wellbeing.
Stitched together our amazing SHQA team, we have our focus groups, Executive Leads, PR, Social Media experts all coming on board.
Worked with Designers to create our beautiful logo, do you like it? I hope you do; the mouse is a nod to my toy Mice collection in my sewing room. After some discussion we decided to call the Mouse Binkie. Yes, you will be able to buy Binkie the mouse soon!

Finally, most excitingly – We have agreed to sponsor the ‘For the Joy of Sharing’ Quilt Category at Festival of Quilts Birmingham from 31st July – 3rd August 2025
So, what an amazing journey the last month has been, at the time of writing this we have nearly 1,000 members/followers over all of our social media platforms. Please help us to keep growing the SHQA, share it with all of your Quilt Groups and Quilty Friends and help to make it the leading standard of wellbeing in the Quilting world.
(Oh, and get booking those events that will also help us grow)
Until the next newsletter.
Lots of love
