Durham Quilted Wedding Gift 1916

This beautiful quilt was made as a wedding gift for a bride in 1916 by her grandmother, making it a particularly personal example of family textile heritage. Created in the traditional Durham quilting style, it features a white and pink quilted front, a complete white fabric backing, and wool wadding.Measuring 81 inches x 92 inches, the quilt is an impressive size and reflects both the skill involved in its construction and the care with which it was made to mark an important family occasion.
