Hand-Sewn Hexagon Patchwork Quilt c. 1960s

This interesting patchwork quilt is constructed from hand-sewn hexagons and is believed to date from around the 1960s. Unlike a traditional quilt, it contains no wadding; instead, the patchwork top is combined directly with a backing fabric, creating a lighter, more flexible textile.Measuring 69.5 inches x 54.5 inches, the quilt is a lovely example of hand-pieced patchwork and the enduring popularity of the hexagon design. It was purchased by SHQA from eBay in 2025.
