The Crafty Stitchers' 12 Block Sampler Quilt 2025

This sampler quilt was designed and made by Rachel D’Ambrosio alongside her quilting group, The Crafty Stitchers. Created between January and July 2025, the individual blocks were brought together into the finished quilt in August 2025.The quilt includes twelve blocks, each demonstrating a different quilting or textile technique: Log Cabin, Crazy Patchwork, EPP Rosette, Rail Fence, Princess Catherine, Japanese Sashiko, Wonky Star, Patchwork of Crosses, Flying Geese, Siddi Quilting, Tumbling Blocks and Disappearing Nine Patch.Measuring 44 inches x 59 inches, this quilt will be displayed at the first SHQA Quilt Show alongside work by the other members of The Crafty Stitchers. Rachel is extremely proud of the group, whose members have supported and inspired her since before SHQA was established and have seen the organisation grow and develop throughout its journey.
