Details: We are a small artist residency running crafters retreats based in South Somerset, we run retreat programs over the summer.

Details: To celebrate day 3 of our Not Going to The Festival of Quilts 2026 events, spend a couple of hours with Rachel, CEO and Founder of The Sew Happy Quilters' Association, learning to make a Gee’s Bend inspired half-log-cabin block. Rachel will introduce the Gee’s Bend quilters and talk about the quilts recently on display in the UK. This is an all hand sewn workshop using your scraps, and by the end you’ll have some beautiful blocks.

• 2 x fat quarters
• ½ metre wadding
• A wodge of scraps (preferably long strips)

Details: In this one-day workshop, you’ll learn the essential skills needed to create a beautiful piped cushion and leave with your own 18inch x 18inch cushion in a fabric of your choice.
