About Me

I am a textile artist and educator specialising in hand embroidery, with a particular focus on Lunéville (tambour) embroidery and couture-style embellishment. I hold an MA in Textiles and work professionally across fashion, art, and education. I teach embroidery as a practical, learnable skill rather than a decorative hobby. My approach focuses on understanding tools, materials, and technique, and on building confidence through completed exercises and finished pieces. I offer in-person one-to-one tuition, based in London. Online teaching is available for students who prefer distance learning or more flexible schedules. My teaching suits beginners as well as those who want to deepen their technical understanding and work more confidently with embroidery in contemporary contexts.
