Alice Caroline Liberty Fabric Quilt 2021–2025

This hand sewn quilt was made by Rachel D’Ambrosio using an Alice Caroline kit. The quilt top was completed in 2021, then later layered with wadding and a Liberty fabric backing before being professionally long-arm quilted in 2025.Measuring 62.5 inches x 63 inches, the quilt has a special connection to Rachel’s love of Liberty fabrics. Although she was not especially keen on the finished top when it was first made, this was the reason it remained unquilted for four years. The long-arm quilting completely transformed the piece, bringing the design together and making it a quilt Rachel now values greatly.
