Hand Sewn Grandma’s Flower Garden EPP Quilt c. early 2000s

This hand sewn Grandma’s Flower Garden quilt is made using English Paper Piecing (EPP), a traditional method in which fabric patches are carefully hand-stitched around paper templates. Believed to have been made in the early 2000s, the original maker is unknown.The unfinished quilt was passed to Sarah Brangwyn of Made and Making, who gave it to Rachel D’Ambrosio in 2023. Measuring 90 inches x 90 inches, it is a substantial example of the enduring and much loved hexagon based Grandma’s Flower Garden design.
